Account Information
When you create a SitePolaris account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google OAuth, we receive your name and email from Google.
Monitor Configuration Data
We store the URLs, keywords, and settings you configure for your monitors. This data is necessary to provide the monitoring service.
Monitoring Results
We collect and store the results of uptime checks, SSL certificate data, domain WHOIS data, PageSpeed scores, and security scan results for your configured monitors.
Payment Information
Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your full card details. We retain transaction IDs and billing records for accounting purposes.
Usage Data
We collect information about how you use the service, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken, to improve SitePolaris.
We use your information to: (a) provide and operate the SitePolaris monitoring service; (b) send alert notifications (email and Slack) when monitors trigger; (c) process payments and manage your subscription; (d) respond to support requests; (e) send product updates and announcements (you may opt out at any time); (f) detect and prevent fraud and abuse; (g) improve and develop new features.
Storage Location
Your data is stored on secure servers. We use Cloudflare for DDoS protection and CDN services. Database backups are encrypted at rest.
Retention
Monitor check results are retained according to your plan (7 days for Free, 30 days for Starter, 90 days for Pro, 1 year for Agency). Account data is retained until you delete your account.
Security Measures
We use HTTPS for all data in transit, bcrypt hashing for passwords, and follow industry-standard security practices. However, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from Account Settings. All personal data and monitor data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of the deletion request.
ZeptoMail
We use ZeptoMail (by Zoho) to deliver transactional emails such as alert notifications, password resets, and account confirmations. Your email address is shared with ZeptoMail for this purpose.
Razorpay
Razorpay is our payment processor for paid subscriptions. When you make a payment, you interact directly with Razorpay's secure checkout. Razorpay's privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data.
Google OAuth
If you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email address with us. We do not receive your Google password or access to any Google services beyond authentication.
Cloudflare
We use Cloudflare for infrastructure, DDoS protection, and performance. Cloudflare may process request data including IP addresses as part of providing these services.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data: (a) Access — you may request a copy of your personal data; (b) Correction — you may update inaccurate data from your Account Settings; (c) Deletion — you may request deletion of your account and associated data; (d) Portability — you may export your monitor data from the dashboard; (e) Objection — you may opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link.
